G-Rip’s ultra-lightweight grip
The Fat wave is an ultra-lightweight grip made from a foam based compound that has the same look, texture and feel of the G-Rip wave putters.
The reason for a bigger putter grip is comfort, improved feel and keeping the wrists out of the swing. This in turn stops the hands and wrists making a flicking movement which has come to be known as the “yips“.
Doesn’t your putter deserve some TLC?
The problem with many jumbo sized putter grips is that they add a large amount of weight to the putter (typically 150grams to 170 grams). This can have a dramatic effect on how your putter responds to your swing and can cause a loss of feel in the putter head.
The G-Rip Fat Wave Jumbo Lightweight Putter Grip is ONLY 55 grams which, incredible as it might seem, is lighter than most standard sized grips. It actually puts feel back into the putter head, helping you swing with more confidence, more consistency and with greater control. Many top players have moved to a larger grip to give them the edge on the greens.
